A visit to Barjora after a long time

It's too long, I forget when I was last visited this place. Oh sorry, I forget to say the name of the place, its Barjora, situated in Bankura district in West Bengal. A nice place with nice people and culture. Also Bankura district is famous for its marvellous education level, which is well known to the world.

I visited Barjora few days ago. I like to visit or travel such nice places for their culture, nature and its people. I don't know when I visited last this place or when I crossed the Durgapur Barrage (on Damoder River). Oh forget Durgapur Barrage is one of the most attractions of tourist who came to travel in Durgapur. Also Durgapur barrage connect the Bankura district with Durgapur, its only one route.

Durgapur Barrage is one of the most tourist attraction also you can enjoy fishing by accompanying the experienced fisherman. See the water force when the water comes from lock-gates of bridge, its amazing. I like it especially in rainy season when the flow of water is really looking amazing. I have remember my school days when I come often at this place in early morning to see the various kind of birds, hearing there beautiful sweet voices and also welcoming the sunrise. Boating and fishing facilities also available here on demand. hey...again forget....its also a hot spot for picnic specially on the christmas & new year.

Laughter is the best medicine?

What would be a good medicine for a patient who suffering from general fever, cold & cough type of disease? Normally we go the medicine shop and take some medicines after advice from doctors, isn’t? Probably, yes. It’s not a long-term disease and there is nothing to worry about but sometimes it takes vital effect on our body.

One of our colleagues has been suffering from fever and cold & cough problems for 2-3 days. One day she came to the office and feeling very sick itself. So she took leave for that day. But the next day she was not present at the office. When we ask her what’s the problem, then she told us that she has fever and feeling very ailing and expression of grief on the phone. I talk with her and ask about her, then same thing she told me that she is feeling very weak, getting apprehension about the disease and weeping continuously. I like her smiling and weeping mood; because in both situations she is looking very cute and I noticed that in every bad situation she couldn’t stop herself to decrease moan from her eyes. Yeah. So she crying out loudly on phone and saying that I am not coming because the illness, and feeling very bad.

What can I do for her at that moment and also on phone? I want to advice her that don’t be like childish, its average and also it’s not a giant predicament from which you are suffering. It was done because the weather changes. But it’ll works? I thought myself for a while, but not to her. But I want to stop her weeping mood, so I though about a comic story and not for the medicine, because medicine is a addiction, as I have read in magazines and articles that laugh is the good medicine for the body also old says that laugh is a good medicine for the health, a comedy could be as effective as going for a run in boosting health, and said to her. The comic story was all about one of our colleague; we always used to laugh about his character in absent of him. When I said to her about the comic story then she smiles, and clean her wet face, as I feel that. After that I told her that do take rest for a day or two. All will be the fine and you will be get rid from it soon and put the receiver.

At the same day we (as it was the idea of our Sr. staff, who is very frank and very endearing person also bears good knowledge and character about this kind of stuffs) decided to collect a sum of money from all the colleagues and give her a little surprise for her careness. We collected the money and given a jar of Horlicks and some fruit such as apple to her through one of our coworker who used to live at the same place where she residing.

I though after that what would be a good medicine for a patient. I think the smile on her face is works better than a medical dose.

A memorable Tuesday - Money is everything?

br..bbb....b.r.....rrrbbrrr...brrrrrr....., I heard the sound which was came from beside me, where I was sat on the chair outside the cash counter of bank. No. No. Neither I am looking like a naughty nor doing any entertaining with you. This is what I have seen yesterday (Tuesday) in a Nationalised Bank situated at Benachity. I had been there to withdraw some cash, because I had to go Kolkata for official purpose. It was 12:15 pm, when I reached at bank where I saw a woman, aged between 45-50, dressed like labours (in Indian formal dress wearing saree) and looking quite rural. I sat there because I have to wait for someone, suddenly, he sat beside me and saying something (but I can’t understood what she was saying) replicately and she is repeat the languages again and again. I thought she was mad (not only me the other persons who was in queue also thought the same as me), but not. She came with a boy looking like his son (maybe not sure).

One person who is standing beside me, looking like a gentleman, ask the women, what she is saying, but there was no answer for this. After a while, the boy who behind the woman (and with the woman), replied the answer questioned by that person, that she is suffering from mental problem. The person said that yes, I thought the same. Then the person questioned again to the boy that, are you the account holder? Then the boy replied him that no, I’m not. And indicated that the woman is the account holder, the account is in her name. After that the gentleman gone from there after his work related to banking.

After sometime the woman has withdrawn the cash from the cash counter and kept into her and trying to grab some money from them, she is trying to open the pack of money but getting fail again and again. I was still looking at her activity. But she was not be able to take one from them, the boy forcing her to take the money from her hand but as per her attitude she never want to give the money to the boy. But at the last she gave the money to him, the boy open the pack of the money and given one piece (one hundred rupee) to her. She forced the boy to grab many but she can’t (as she has no power at this old age). I continue looking the activity for both. After getting the one piece of hundred rupee note in his hand, I can’t express how much pleasure she has at that moment. She opens her aanchal and kept the one piece of hundred rupee note. I am very sentimental; I understand what is going there.

I always think about money, Money is everything? I can’t express the situation which was at that time. How she was tried to take the money from the boy and how much get pleasure after getting one piece of hundred rupee note. Her smile on the face, tell her pleasure to get the money. I knew, she was a hard worker, working everyday for her meal, and from them she keep saving and kept the money for her future. Everyone is trying for saving. I know she worked hard for that money and also working hard till date, but at last she find nothing. That was my one of the most memorable incident which I saw in my own eye that, what is money?
